Flax and Oat Berry Purple Smoothie Bowl

This smoothie bowl is berry delicious! Get creative with your add ons to add even more color and nutritious ingredients.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup (250 mL) mixed blueberries and blackberrie
  • 2 Tbsp (30 mL) ground flaxseed 
  • 2 Tbsp (30 mL) rolled oat
  • 3/4 cup (175 mL) vanilla yogurt
  • 1/2 cup (125 mL) pomegranate juice
  • Toppings:
  • 1/4 cup (60 mL) granola
  • 1/4 cup (60 mL) mixed berrie
  •  2 Tbsp (30 mL) ground flaxseed
1 cup mixed blueberries and blackberrie2 Tbsp ground flaxseed 2 Tbsp rolled oat3/4 cup vanilla yogurt1/2 cup pomegranate juiceToppings:1/4 cup granola1/4 cup mixed berrie 2 Tbsp ground flaxseed

Instructions:

  1. In a blender, combine mixed berries, ground flaxseed, oats, yogurt, pomegranate juice. Cover and blend until smooth.
  2. Pour smoothie into two bowls and top with granola, mixed berries ground flaxseed. Serve and enjoy.
  3. Serving: 2 smoothie bowls.
  4. Serving size: 1 cup (250 mL) smoothie plus toppings. Each serving contains 2 Tbsp (30 mL) of flax.

Serving Size: 2 smoothie bowls.
